Metro police want the Titans receiver in connection with two outstanding warrants sworn out by the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Britt allegedly made inaccurate statements on his driver’s license applications on at least one occasion, according to Metro police spokesman Don Aaron.
Diehards Line:According to Tennesssean staffer Jim Wyatt, it is believed Britt provided incorrect information related to whether his license had been suspended in the past. The charge against Britt is a misdemeanor. When Britt returns to Nashville he’ll be expected to turn himself in. Britt’s attorney said his client plans to do so. ... In case you haven't been following along, Britt has been involved in at least six incidents with police since the Titans drafted him in 2009. Last week he was arrested in New Jersey. He is scheduled to appear in a Hoboken courtroom on Thursday aftering being charged with tampering with evidence, obstructing a government function and resisting arrest after allegedly crushing a cigar containing what officers suspected to be marijuana. ...
