The Facts: The Redskins have been searching for wide receivers to go with Santana Moss for years. Now, they run the risk of continuing their search for complementary receivers without having Moss.
Diehards Line:That’s because the 32-year-old is going to be a free agent when the labor dust settles. So the Redskins run the risk of losing Moss, who despite the dysfunctional offense last season had 93 receptions for 1,115 yards and six touchdowns. But if Moss has his choice, he will not be going anywhere. “It’s gonna be a mess,” Moss said of the free agency process. “I’m just hoping everything goes as planned, man. I just want to be signed. I’ve never really been out there when it comes to controversies and all that stuff, so I don’t want that dealing with this process. I want it to be you’re gonna sign me, sign me and let’s go. ..." It remains to be seen if Moss is in the Skins plans going forward or not.
