The Facts: Mike Jurecki of XTRA910 in Arizona reports "Kolb is the guy. The Cardinals are prepared to offer Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie straight up according to a source"
Diehards Line:The Cardinals have been one of the teams linked to the Eagles' current No. 2 QB all offseason. Based on Jurecki's reporting, it sounds like they're ready to go to great lengths to land him, too. We'll remind you that while Kolb appears to be the team's favorite, others -- Kyle Orton, Marc Bulger and Carson Palmer among them -- have been mentioned as possible candidates. Perhaps worth noting is the fact that Kolb is a free-agent-to-be after the 2011 season, meaning he'll need a new contract in addition to whatever the Cardinals have to give up to get him. And according to Philadelphia Inquirer staffer Jeff McClane, it will take more than Rodgers-Cromartie to get a deal done.
