The Facts: Following up on a previous item. ... HC Jack Del Rio said the big news of Thursday night's Jaguars practice was actually pretty small. Garrard left the practice field midway through Thursday's night practice with a back issue that Del Rio later called "nothing major." Del Rio said he expects Garrard to participate in the team's scrimmage Saturday.

Diehards Line:"David's back got a little tight," Del Rio told reporters following the second of two practices Thursday. "We're icing him down. He'll get treatment and all of that, but he'll be fine. ..." Del Rio said Garrard approached him and Jaguars Trainer Mike Ryan after the first team period of the evening practice and told them of the issue. "We said, 'It's not the time to push through that -- let's let it settle down,"' Del Rio said. "He'll be fine. Based on what Mike relayed to us it's a little tight. We'll get a handle on it. ... All indications are it's not going to be a major deal." Sounds positive. But we'll continue to follow up as needed.
