"He will do drill work, could throw some seven-on-seven, but he will not be put in a team environment where he might get tripped up or something like that happens." Schaub is entering his ninth season in the NFL and his sixth as the Texans' starter. Last season, he threw for 2,479 yards and 15 touchdowns while leading the Texans to a 7-3 record before the injury ended his season after Week 10. "He's ready to go," Kubiak said. "It's us being cautious with him right now."
