The Facts: Following up on the ongoing story. ... Many in South Florida are excited at the prospect that No. 8 overall pick Ryan Tannehill could grab the Dolphins starting QB position, but 2011 Dolphins MVP Moore has other ideas. "When I hear it over and over 100 times it gets a little annoying," Moore said. "I just try to win ballgames and do my best. They'll talk about me when they need to talk about me."
Diehards Line:Moore led the Dolphins to a 6-3 record after taking over in Week 5 when Chad Henne suffered a season-ending separated left shoulder. The Dolphins brought in more veteran competition for Moore when they signed veteran David Garrard in the offseason before the draft. Garrard recently said that Tannehill has been able to pick up the Dolphins new offense faster than the veterans because Miami's new OC Mike Sherman was his coach at Texas A&M. But owner Stephen Ross played down expectations for instant results from Tannehill this week, saying the team won't rush the eighth-overall pick in April's draft. Bottom line? Recent momentum for Tannehill notwithstanding, Moore still looks like the most likely Week 1 starter. The real question seems to be how long he can hold that distinction.
