The Facts: Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush took a helmet to the left knee with 23 seconds remaining in the first half of Sunday's game against the New York Jets. He remained down for a few minutes before limping off the field. Bush returned to the sideline after the second half got underway, where he was seen working with a trainer and riding an exercise bike. Bush remains out of the game. He had 61 yards on 10 carries before the injury. Daniel Thomas and Lamar Miller are handling the rushing workload in Bush's absence.
Diehards Line:Heading into Week 3, Bush was second in the NFL with 241 rushing yards, second only to the Bills' C.J. Spiller, who sustained a shoulder injury earlier in the day. Dolphins have been mum on the severity of Bush's injury, however if he misses any time, it looks like Miami will roll with the running back tandem of Daniel Thomas and Lamar Miller.
