The Facts: NFL Media's Albert Breer has been told by Texans linebacker Brian Cushing that he believes he tore his LCL and broke his leg. Cushing believes he needs surgery and is thought to be done for the season.
Diehards Line:
Cushing was ruled out right away after Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles' helmet connected directly with Cushing's left knee after Cushing came on a blitz. He had to be helped off the field without putting any pressure on his leg, and he was very emotional. With Cushing out, Daryl Sharpton is likely to enter the starting lineup next to Jay Mays. Houston's defense played well again on Sunday, but the Texans fell to 2-5 on the season after falling 17-16 in Kansas City.
