The Facts: Following up on a previous item. ... The Raiders re-signed McFadden to a one-year, $4 million deal a source confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The NFL Network is reporting the same.
Diehards Line:
This after Rashad Jennings decided to take an offer to move on to the New York Giants. McFadden has struggled the last two seasons, missing 10 out of a possible 32 games. He averaged a meager 3.3 yards per carry in each of the last two seasons. Because it's only a one-year deal, Oakland can move on in 2015 if McFadden continues to struggle -- which is entirely possible. That said, McFadden will only be 27 years old when the season starts. So there's still hope.
