The Facts: Stallworth was no saint when a Miami Beach police officer stopped him for driving with an expired paper tag on a black 2005 Bentley, cops say. At 5:05 a.m Saturday, police asked him to step out of the car, but he "refused by pulling away and tensing." Stallworth would not shut off the engine or get off his phone, police say. Officers charged him with resisting arrest without violence, cited him for the expired tag, towed the Bentley and took him to jail.
Diehards Line:According to the arresting officers, Stallworth hinted that he would have their jobs, that he knew the chief of police and that they would be hearing from his lawyer. ... He's right about one thing: They'll hear from his lawyer when -- when the case goes to court and they testify against Stallworth. ... Stay tuned, we'll have more on this as further details are released.
