The Facts: Following up on today's release of Jackson, Terez Paylor of the Kansas City Star reports that the Chiefs are keeping an eye on newly-available receiver. Per Paylor, the Chiefs are pursuing Jackson, whom HC Andy Reid drafted back in 2008.
Diehards Line:Kansas City was going to be included on any list of team's interested in Jackson based on the presence of Reid. The problem for the Chiefs is cap space. As PFT's Mike Florio notes, Kansas City currently has $4.5 million in available space. Which could make it difficult to afford Jackson. That said, contracts can be restructured to create more room. If the team really wants to. We'll see. Again, it's being reported that no fewer than six teams have expressed interest so far.
