The Facts: HC Joe Gibbs said today that Portis was held out of practice because his knee tendinitis flared back up. He says the team will monitor it closely and that the team is being extra careful.
Diehards Line:The problem -- first reported in back in May -- was aggravated at Monday's practice and as Post staffer Jason La Canfora suggests, this is likely to be a daily evaluation I fear. These can become major issues if not allowed to heal all the way or they can go away quickly if cared for properly. ... Needless to say, we'll be watching closely.
