Brian Finneran Likes Falcons' Receiving Corp
(7/7 2:35 PT)

The Facts:
Finneran said Atlanta will not have the NFL's 30th-ranked passing attack, as it did last season. For a second consecutive year, the Falcons used a first-round draft choice on a wide receiver, picking Alabama-Birmingham's Roddy White. The Falcons took Ohio State's Michael Jenkins in 2004. "With myself, Peerless [Price], Dez White, Michael Jenkins and Roddy White, our receiving corps is tight," Finneran said. "And we've got our tight end, Alge Crumpler, who's in that group and led us in receptions last season." Reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Finneran, still considered the team's best route-runner, went on to he hopes the team will throw the ball more this year, but conceded, "We're going to keep the same game plan as far as the running game goes. ..." Of course, the Falcons led the league in rushing last season.
