The Facts:
Clayton, who has not done much this offseason since knee surgery in February, is expected to be limited early in training camp for precautionary reasons. "Right now, [Clayton is] scheduled to start training camp," general manager Bruce Allen said before conceding: "We've been cautious, but yeah, it's a concern because [Clayton] is a starter and we're counting on him for 16 games."

Despite the caution, Allen is confident the knee won't be an ongoing issue, noting that Clayton played with the injury for most of last year. "He's a pretty tough cookie," Allen added. ...
