Michael Clayton Likely To Be Limited Early In Camp
(7/20 11:25 PT)

The Facts:
Clayton, who has not done much this offseason since knee surgery in February, is expected to be limited early in training camp for precautionary reasons. "Right now, [Clayton is] scheduled to start training camp," general manager Bruce Allen said before conceding: "We've been cautious, but yeah, it's a concern because [Clayton] is a starter and we're counting on him for 16 games."  Reported by the St. Petersburg Times

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Despite the caution, Allen is confident the knee won't be an ongoing issue, noting that Clayton played with the injury for most of last year. "He's a pretty tough cookie," Allen added. ... Let's hope so; Clayton emerged as a key weapon for the Bucs' offense last season and his presence will be vital to the team's success.
