Williams reported to Dolphins training camp on Sunday morning, nearly one year to the day after he told the team he was retiring from football. He did not comment to reporters waiting outside the complex. The team's first formal training-camp media availability is scheduled for Monday.

Williams will be allowed to participate in Miami's five preseason games, but then must serve a suspension the first four regular-season games. Miami's bye comes in the fourth week, which means Williams can't return until Week 6. ... According to New York Daily News insider Gary Myers, one GM predicted that head coach Nick Saban will run Williams hard this summer to showcase him and if he can't trade him before the season opener, he will cut him.
