The Facts:
The first of the Giants' four rookie draft picks agreed to terms on a contract yesterday when Jacobs, the massive running back from Southern Illinois, signed a four-year deal. That means Jacobs will report to his first NFL training camp on time this Friday. "The Giants treated him like someone who will contribute," said Jacobs' agent, Justin Schulman.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
That comes as no surprise, considering the Giants took Jacobs specifically to fill their need for a short-yardage power back. At 6-4 and 256 pounds, Jacobs certainly looks the part. It will be very interesting to see how he fares once the pads are on and the hitting commences.
