The Facts:
White missed his third practice and talk of the wide receiver competing for a starting job began to cool. "I might have overstated the fact that we feel Roddy could be a starter," coach Jim Mora said after the first of two practices Tuesday. "We feel like he has the physical ability to be a starter. But it's hard to start as a rookie, very, very hard. The likelihood of that happening is pretty slim."
