The Facts:
Williams enters training camp as the starting tight end ahead of Brandon Manumaleuna. "I know Roland was a good player when he played with us before (from 1998 through 2000)," Mike Martz said. But the coach thought Williams looked faster in the spring than he ever has in a Rams uniform, and caught the ball better than Martz remembered.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Neither Williams nor Manumaleuna have the ball skills and after-the-catch ability of predecessors like Ernie Conwell or Cam Cleeland and neither is likely to make a major contribution in the passing attack this fall.
