Rogers was back in pads for the first time in almost a year Saturday after missing last season with injuries. He is working without limitations. During a nine-on-seven drill, he rolled after a catch and heard a chorus of teammates urging him to get up. He bounded to his feet and returned to the huddle. "I saw him catch it and get up and I never thought another second about it," Steve Mariucci said.

Rogers, considered the jewel of the team's receiving unit when he was taken with the third overall pick, played one offensive series last year before breaking his right collarbone at Chicago. It's the same bone he fractured after five games of his rookie season.
