The Facts:
The Falcons Sunday announced the signing their first round draft pick to a five-year contract. Financial terms were not announced. White led the nation in receiving yardage as a senior with 1,452 yards on 71 receptions and his 20.5 yards per catch average was third in the country in 2004. His senior season also included six 100-yard receiving games.

White was expected to compete with Dez White for a starting job, but Jim Mora has noted the rookie has fallen behind by missing almost a week. The rookie is expected to be with the team for Sunday's practice and we'll soon find out how good he is while playing from behind.
