The Facts:
Working to secure the long-term future of one of the team's emerging young stars, the Cardinals on Sunday reached agreement with the third-year receiver on a four-year contract extension. Team officials had conceded months ago that Boldin, the league's rookie of the year in 2003, outplayed the original contract he signed as a second-round draft choice.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Some believe Larry Fitgerald will emerge as Arizona's top receiving threat, but we'll remind you that no player in NFL history has had more catches in his first 26 games than Boldin's 157. That's not an insignificant total. While he might benefit from moving from split end back to the slot, we don't expect Boldin to slow significantly.
