Steelers Won't Negotiate Until Hines Ward Reports
(7/31 6:50 PT)

The Facts:
Ward became the Steelers' first major holdout in 12 years Sunday, keeping his promise not to report to camp without a contract extension that would make him one of the NFL's top-paid wide receivers. Once Ward missed the 6 p.m. EDT reporting deadline, Steelers director of football operations Kevin Colbert said negotiations were over until Ward shows up -- something the receiver has insisted that he won't do without a new deal.  Reported by the Associated Press

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Drama on. ... We'll obviously have more on this one as developments warrant. In the meantime, Ward has been around long enough to overcome some missed time in camp -- as long as that's the extent of it.
