Campbell has agreed to terms with the Redskins, the team announced on Monday evening. The contract will be official on Tuesday morning. Campbell is expected to be at Redskins Park and on the field for the team's second day of training camp practices.

Campbell was selected by the Redskins with the 25th pick in the first round of the April 23 draft. He's expected to be the No. 3 quarterback behind starter Patrick Ramsey and Mark Brunell. His selection was somewhat of a surprise because Joe Gibbs had already named Ramsey, who is in his fourth year in the league, as the starter.
