Jaguars Agree To Terms With Rookie WR Matt Jones
(8/2 9:20 PT)

The Facts:
Jones, the Jaguars' first round draft pick, ended his four-day holdout after shortly midnight when he agreed to a five-year deal shortly following a marathon negotiation session. Jones is expected to sign the contract today. Including escalators, Jones can make close to $11 million over the five-year length of the contract and will make $6.3 million the first year. Reported by the Florida Times-Union

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jones, the 21st pick overall, missed the first day of training camp Saturday. The Jaguars wanted to avoid a long holdout, especially since Jones is changing positions and learning a new offense. He also missed most of mini-camp and several summer workouts because of a tender left hamstring.
