Owens arrived at team headquarters this morning amid, relatively speaking, little fanfare. At 8:44 a.m. (eastern time), he sprinted onto the practice field. Owens did not stop and talk to the collected media, which featured a few television stations and a small number of radio reporters.

In the end, the reception was relatively quiet, certainly much less of a circus than it was when Owens reported to Lehigh University and training camp a few weeks ago. Owens was expected to practice with the team at 8:45 a.m. and then again at 2 p.m. He is also expected to meet with head coach Andy Reid at some point in the morning. ...
