The Facts:
The Giants will not have Manning for Friday's preseason game against the Jets. Manning was diagnosed with a sprained right elbow after being examined on Monday by team physician Dr. Russell Warren. "Dr. Warren said that Eli's status will be week-to-week," coach Tom Coughlin said. "He has a sprain and bruise to the inside of his elbow. We'll evaluate his situation on a week-to-week basis."
