The Facts:
Flemister, a unrestricted free agent tight end, signed on Tuesday. Terms were not disclosed. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Flemister was originally signed by the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa.

The Patriots already are well stocked at the tight end position. Christian Fauria and Daniel Graham split time last season and the club selected Ben Watson in the second round of April's draft. Don't look for Flemister to break into that three-man rotation.
