The Facts:
Moore mildly sprained his left ankle in the second quarter of Friday night's preseason game against San Diego, but he said afterward he felt fine. "I don't have any pain, so I think I'll be all right," Moore said. ... Also, kicker Aaron Elling hurt his hip while warming up before the game and did not play, allowing Paul Edinger to handle all the kicks.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Moore, who started in Michael Bennett's (neck) place, rushed six times for 21 yards and caught one pass for 11 yards. He caught a 7-yard pass that was negated by penalty on Minnesota's final drive of the first half and was on the sideline after that. Coach Mike Tice said both Moore and Elling would be re-evaluated on Saturday.
Kirk Bouyelas' View:
I would not normally be overly concerned by this injury. Moore said not to worry -- he'll be available. "I don't have any pain," he said in the locker room. "I think I'll be all right." Maybe - maybe not. Moore missed six weeks because he sprained the same ankle last season. To complicate matters more, there is probably no chance that Moore will play the last pre-season game. This will lead to a very murky situation in a crowded Vikings backfield. Hopefully you do not have a Vikings player as your #1 or #2 running back for the opening of the season.
