The Facts:
The Titans, well-stocked with wideouts, agreed to terms yesterday with Edwards, who was Jacksonville's second-leading receiver last season. He arrived in Nashville yesterday, met with his new coaches and is expected to be on the practice field today. "The way I fit in here depends on the way that I perform," Edwards said last night. "If I perform well I think I'll be here and I'll play. If I don't perform I'll be back at home taking the kids to school."

Edwards was released by the Jaguars last Sunday after catching 50 passes for 533 yards last season. He could play in Thursday's preseason finale against Green Bay. ... With three rookies behind starters Drew Bennett and Tyrone Calico (coming off a torn ACL), the Titans felt some veteran depth would be helpful.
