Trent Green Undergoes Outpatient Surgery
(9/1 9:35 PT)

The Facts:
Green was absent from practices this week just a few days after his early exit last Saturday night against Seattle. A battery of tests followed, then Green had an outpatient procedure late Tuesday to fix a circulation problem in his leg. "He had a little problem," Vermeil said. "It was a minor problem, and it's taken care of. ..." Reported by the Kansas City Star

We'll have more on this as the story unfolds.
