The Facts:
The Eagles added depth at the wide receiver position Saturday by signing the former Redskin to a one-year contract. "McCants has good size and speed and has made a lot of plays with the Redskins, in particular against us," said Andy Reid. "We'll see what kind of role he fills once we get him acclimated to our offense."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
McCants' 6-3, 214-pound size and potential caught the attention of Reid who worked him out on Wednesday. He has been sort of an enigma in his first four seasons in the NFL. McCants had a breakout season in 2003 catching 27 passes for 360 yards and six touchdowns. However, he regressed in 2004 and only had five catches for 71 yards and was inactive for 10 games. ... He'll start out below Terrell Owens, Greg Lewis and Reggie Brown on the Eagles' depth chart.
