The Facts:
Just hours after announcing their final 53-man squad, the Browns signed Miller, who was waived Monday by the Houston Texans. Miller was waived by the Texans because they no longer need a pass-catching tight end. "It's not that I can't block, but my forte is catching passes," Miller said.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Miller said he's not sure what his role will be right away, but it could be significant. Until they signed him, the Browns had only two tight ends on the roster in Steve Heiden and Aaron Shea. Shea suffered a strained chest muscle in the preseason finale in Chicago and his status is unknown. He could be fine for the opener Sunday against the Bengals, but his condition won't be updated until Monday.
