The Facts:
A partially torn plantar fascia in his right foot probably will keep Johnson out of the team's Sept. 11 opener. Johnson said Saturday that team doctors told him a recent MRI exam of the injury showed that there has been some improvement but that his recovery required more time. "Pretty much, they don't think I'll be able to play this week," said Johnson.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Johnson said he may test his foot Tuesday on the outside chance the injury is healing faster than expected. Mike Nolan, however, put Johnson's chances of playing at no better than 50-50, said he hasn't yet decided on a starter should Johnson be unable to go. Nolan said he plans to choose from Billy Bajema and Steve Bush, who returned last week from a shoulder injury. The team also claimed Trent Smith off waivers from the Ravens and released Aaron Walker Sunday.
