Robinson, released in June after an increasingly troubled four-year tenure in Seattle, visited with the Vikings on Sunday. "We'll just see how it goes," Mike Tice told reporters. "There's nothing imminent. We just wanted to touch base and visit."

Robinson's college teammate, Brian Williams, plays cornerback for the Vikings. He encouraged Tice to meet with Robinson "He's a good football player," Tice said. "He's going through some life challenges. (Brian) indicated to me that I should make contact, and I did. ..."
