With Peerless Price now officially on the roster, the Cowboys released Morgan to stay at the 53-man limit. Morgan joined the team in the Antonio Bryant trade last year, but relegated to the fourth receiver this year behind Keyshawn Johnson, Terry Glenn and Patrick Crayton.

Last year, Morgan struggled to stay healthy after suffered a hamstring in his first game with the team, Oct. 24 in Green Bay. He finished the year with 22 catches for 260 yards an no touchdowns.
