The Facts:
Akers appeared to reinjure his right hamstring and left Sunday's game against Oakland after collapsing in pain after the opening kickoff. Akers came up limping after his first kickoff against the Raiders. When a penalty forced Akers to kick again, he fell down hard as soon as he kicked the ball and grabbed his right leg. He stayed down for a few minutes and was helped off the field.

Tight end Mike Bartrum took over on kickoffs while the Eagles used linebacker Mark Simoneau to try their first PAT attempt -- which was blocked. Akers was seen warming up during the half, but it didn't look promising.
