The Facts:
In a rather surprising development, Akers returned to action to attempt the Eagles' first PAT of the second half. The attempt was successful, but clearly took a toll on the veteran kicker, who again limped off the field in obvious distress.

As much as we hope somebody has told coaches that Akers can't do serious damage to his already injured right hamstring, we have a hard time understanding the importance of forcing back into action so early in the season. ... More as developments warrant.
