The Facts:
The news wasn't as bad as expected for Chad Pennington and Jay Fiedler following their visit to orthopedic surgeon James Andrews for a second opinion. Fiedler could return as early as a month from now. Pennington's injury isn't career-threatening, Andrews said, and the quarterback could conceivably return this season. The Jets, however, will shut Pennington down regardless.
