Randy Moss Dodges League Bullet?
(10/3 11:8 PT)

The Facts:
FOXSports.com learned of a meeting that took place Tuesday to decide Moss' fate in the NFL drug program as a result of his comments on HBO's Real Sports. According to several sources close to the situation, after Moss admitted on the air "I have used, you know, marijuana ... since I've been in the league," the NFL informed Moss that he was going to be placed in the drug program, which requires several random drug tests throughout the year. As a result, Moss hired attorney David Cornwell, the same attorney who helped get Ricky Williams reinstated by the NFL.  Reported by FOXSports.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Cornwell apparently told the league that Moss would not take the additional tests and insisted upon a meeting to clear his client's name. Tuesday, Cornwell presented Moss' argument and early indications are that Moss is actually going to win his argument, although no final decision has yet to be made. If the Raiders All-Pro wideout was forced into Phase 1 of the system and in fact skipped tests, two missed tests could result in suspension. It appears, however, that Moss and the Raiders have pulled this one out.
