The Facts:
Herman Edwards will name Testaverde the starter for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, according to a team official. The decision to start Testaverde was reached after Edwards met with his offensive staff Monday to examine what could be done to spark the Jets' stalled offense. The official announcement would come today during Edwards' news conference.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
We'll have more on this later, but with Testaverde at the helm, the Jets are expected to use more shotgun formation, different pass protection and blocking schemes and different formations. In 1998, Testaverde, often operating out of the shotgun, threw a club-record 29 touchdowns and just seven interceptions as the Jets finished 12-4 and reached the AFC Championship Game.
