The Facts:
Jones, who had an MRI on his ankle Monday, seems to have suffered more than just a minor sprain, and the Cowboys will be anxious to see just what he can do on Wednesday, if anything, when the club returns to practice. There is a good chance their second-year running back will at least be listed as questionable early in the week, and the Cowboys will have to see how quickly he responds to treatment.

While there seems to be legitimate concern, owner Jerry Jones seems somewhat optimistic he will be able to fight through the injury to play Sunday against the Giants. "I think he'll play, we'll see," Jerry Jones said of Julius Jones' status. "From everything I've heard today, he's got a good chance to play. ..." More as the week progresses.
