The Facts:
The Raiders learned the injuries sustained by Moss in Sunday's loss to the Chargers are limited to bruised ribs and a bone bruise in the groin region. Norv Turner said Moss underwent an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the injuries. The exam also revealed a groin strain but no tears.

That qualifies as good news considering the potential for much worse. ... It's still not clear what his status for this week will be, but Turner noted the veteran receiver is "very sore." Stay tuned. The Raiders are required to declare Moss' status for Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills by Wednesday afternoon.
