According to reports out of San Diego this afternoon, Kaeding (questionable, back) is active for today's game as expected.

As we reported throughout the week, Kaeding was held out of practice, but head coach Marty Schottenheimer maintained the second-year man would play all along. The fact that San Diego never bothered to add a backup kicker to their practice squad lent credence to the coach's statements.
