Holmes sustained a mild concussion when he was hit by Chargers rookie linebacker Shawne Merriman midway through the third quarter against San Diego. Dick Vermeil said Holmes will be OK.

Doesn't sound like a serious issue, although the presence of Larry Johnson allows the team to take as cautious approach with Holmes as they'd like. Still, this doesn't sound serious.
