The Facts:
Williams is expected to miss the remainder of the season because of damage in his right knee, a team official said. Williams has been dealing with pain in the knee for much of the season. Because the pain hadn't subsided, the team scheduled exploratory surgery for this week and Williams apparently had it Tuesday.  Reported by the Minneapolis Star Tribune
