The Facts:
Gates left Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills with a foot injury. Gates was hurt when he was tackled after catching a 21-yard pass from Drew Brees midway through the third quarter. He remained on the ground for a few minutes, walked off the field and then was taken by a cart into the locker room.
