Andy Reid announced Monday that McNabb and cornerback Lito Sheppard will both undergo surgeries that will "most likely" end their 2005 season.

No real surprise here. McNabb has played well enough but in obvious pain due to the sports hernia he'll have repaired -- and other injuries. Although it's not official, early indications are Mike McMahon will continue on as the starter.
