The Facts:
Following up on
an ongoing story. ... When it comes to his personal version of "The Social Network," the trouble-prone Britt is sticking to his story regarding his Facebook debacle. The NFL player insists he was hacked to explain cursing NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on his status updates as well as saying he was retiring before apologizing and saying he's ready to play and that he was hacked.

Britt issued the following statement to the Tennessean newspaper. I have the utmost respect for Commissioner Goodell, the NFL and the TN Titans, Britt said. The Facebook posting as reported was not made by myself nor have I given any statements to anyone regarding this matter. It is not a defense but a fact that this Facebook page and associated email account were hacked and reported more than 120 days ago. As NFP staffer Aaron Wilson notes, Britt can make all the excuses he wants, he still has pending problems with the law in New Jersey and Tennessee and likely a future conversation with Goodell in his New York office whenever the lockout ends. ...Oh yeah. And nobody is buying the "hacking" excuse any more, are they?
