Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The Giants have yet to release Barber, so it's safe to say that Lepselter's "feeling" is probably just that although the agent insists he spoke with teams during draft weekend when the lockout was temporarily lifted and such discussions were allowed. Barber, who turned 36 in April, hasn't played since the 2006 season with the Giants, where he spent his entire 10-year career. Opinion is split on his ability to return to the game. As the Redzone notes, some analysts believe he won't even make a final roster while others think he can still be more than just a third-down back. Barber, however, has no doubts. He's made no secret of his desire to play a major role wherever he lands.
