The Facts:
Tolbert is taking out his frustrations and staying in shape during the NFL lockout by pounding on punching bags. The big running back has taken up boxing during the work stoppage. “I’m naturally born aggressive,” Tolbert told the San Diego Union-Tribune. “Before this, I’d done some Jiu-Jitsu and taekwondo, but never strictly boxing. It’s rough; it’s the roughest workout I’ve had in my life."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Tolbert has been worked over a few times in the ring, but hasn't been hurt badly. “I’ve been caught with a few good punches,” Tolbert said.“I took a standing-8. I’ve been 8-counted. I threw a hook and he slipped in a body shot. I had trouble breathing for two or three minutes.” Of most interest to Fantasy Football owners, Tolbert is down to 244 pounds from 258 pounds and sparring with heavyweights. He works out five times per week. The effort should wind up paying off for Tolbert whenever football resumes but we still envision a greater role for second-year man Ryan Mathews.
